Hello,

Here are 2 pictures from a renovated apartment. This can help give you some ideas about what can be done here. The amount of space and original layout is exactly the same as 3RE but the owner repositioned the bath and kitchen in the middle of the apartment to give much more seperation between the living room and bedroom. The bedroom is located in the same place as 3REs but does have a wall up with a door. I prefer the 3RE layout - better flow and open feel.

The above picture is from the last apartment I sold in the building on the 1st floor - 1RW which closed for $462,000 in November of 2008. Here is the link to more photos. The kitchen had some nice things done to it but the condition of the rest of the apartment was awful. The floor was a very cheap imitiation wood and if you look at the closet on the leftt - this is where the shower was. To get to the bathroom one had to walk through the kitchen. It wasn't completely dark but the light on the 1st floor facing the back was much less than the 3rd floor you saw. The only advantage here was the 11 foot ceiling height.
